LE TECHNOPUSS13s: ALTERNATIVE BAND

LE TECHNOPUSS13s

"Le Technopuss13s," describe themselves as the, "Queen City's favorite electro noise-pop fashionistas."  With band members, Vinny, lead singer and co-songwriter; and Jamie Thorman, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboards.

In 2006, New Year's Eve they were headlining at the Northside Tavern. Everyone was gathered in the front room (before the back room was built). Standing on bar stools, and leaning over each others' shoulders in anticipation to hear and feel the energy the Le Technopuss13s bring to the stage. Jamie, dressed in his 80's-ish futuristic outfit, waving his guitar sending out this magnetic sound. Vinny was dressed as "Elvis,"  with her glamorous side burns and shiny outfit. A free spirit with such boldness; her head tilted back, as she power housed the lyrics. They gave a performance that did NOT disappoint.

After 2010, they took a sabatical for a few years, and then in 2014, they gave a surprise appearance at The Comet. The crowd was anxious for their performance and the reunion show was a success. They played their little pink heart out!  So check out the Le Technopuss13s' music on YouTube, show your support to local bands by going to their shows and giving their facebook page a "LIKE."  For over a decade, they have performed all-around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky indie music hot spots like Top Cat's, The Comet, Northside Tavern, Southgate House, and many more. Playing hits like "Pills," and "Little Pink Heart."  They've made appearances at many events, including the annual "80's Pop Rocks", an AIDS benefit held at the Southgate House (now called Southgate House Revival).

WELCOME TO CINCY STREETS!

This is my personal blog about music, art, and film by artists, organizations and events going on around the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.  The blog will be updated monthly and/or bi-weekly.

First, a little about myself...

Hello! My name is Natalie Henry, owner of ProudCherokee Productions. I am a coat of many colors, you might say. Since I graduated from High School and Scarlet Oaks Vocational in 1991, my experience has been in the tv, film, theatre, art and music industries for many, many years. I have a certificate in Television Communications, an Associates from UC DAAP in Fine Arts, and studied at Wright State University for Motion Picture. I've worked on major motion pictures, numerous short films, Floor Director for WLWT Channel 5, directed one-act plays, art shows, and in 2002 created my band Pilar.  I played rhythm guitar and was the lead singer in my band until 2005, when my siblings and I found out our mom had ovarian cancer. Everything was put on hold and two years later,  we lost our mother Janie Henry. We miss her dearly.

In 2010, by divine intervention, I met Robert Seifert who introduced me to promoting. R.J., as he goes by, is the manager and promoter for country singer Mr. Bobby Mackey.  From there, I began promoting, booking and creating events for bands, musicians, reality stars, dj events, and benefits. Today, I continue with videography, filmmaking, writing and casting with my productions.  I decided to take all of my experiences and numerous gracious opportunities and share them with you.

SO with that being said, let's get this blog on the road!
