Mr. UNSTABLE
Although, he's not as "unstable" as you may assume, or how he may appear, rather he is a very talented, insightful intellectual. He is a musician, singer, guitarist, and songwriter, who categories his music as Horrorcore, Nerdcore, and Sic Hop.
Here is our interview:
Who inspired your music and to be Mr. Unstable?
"I'm
inspired to be Mr. UNSTABLE and to make music by a few things. The biggest are
Life and death and the need to escape them. Growing up, I loved all music and
horror films, I used those to cope with being an outcast. I draw influence from
many different genres of musicians but have mainly been moved by people who
take the extra step of using dark themes & theatrics in the art, look and
performance. From Screamin' Jay Hawkins to Arthur Brown, From Alice Cooper to
Kiss, From Parliament-Funkadelic to The Misfits, From The Mentors to N.W.A,
From King Diamond to GWAR, From GG Allin to Mr.Bungle, From Green Jello to The
Flatlinerz, From Body Count to Esham, From Insane Clown Posse to Marilyn
Manson, From Slipknot to Hogscraper, From Mindless Self Indulgence to
Mushroomhead and everything in between all the way up to Ghost, currently."
What do you feel is wrong with, or lacking, in "Today's" music?
"I think music is what it's always been. The film and fluff are on top leaving all the good stuff below. The mainstream still forces manufactured music on the masses but if you get out in the clubs and see acts perform, you will find that music is alive and well. It's just buried in the underground."
Where did you perform your first gig? And When?
"I played my first live show at Bogart's in Cincinnati, 1993. It was a 'Battle of the Bands,' and we were kicked out the competition, and physically thrown out of the competition because of our 'offensive and nudity laced' stage show."
When did you know, or decide, to be a musician? What was your first instrument?
"I decided to be a musician at the age of 4 yrs old. There was never a doubt about it, I was born to rock. My parents weren't as convinced. With that being said, I got my first instrument when I was 13 yrs old. It was a guitar, a Jackson 'Flying V.' I thought I was so metal, ha ha."
How do you feel about the indie scene?

How do you feel about the indie scene?
"I think being independent is a thriving wonderland right now, as long as you have the music in you. There has actually never been a better time to be in the indie scene. With the internet, your only limitations are the ones you set for yourself."
